I first started to feel pain in July of
2001. The pain started in my lower back and went through to my abdomen. Because
I was having pain I went to Rexburg
Medical Center
and visited with a doctor there. He said that I had a severe bladder infection
and gave me shots and infection medicine.
I saw him two more times and it got worse. I ended up at the emergency
room in Madison Memorial. There they did x-rays took blood tests to check out
my internal organs they decided that I might have something call colinitis disease and sent me to Eastern Idaho Medical
Center. There they kept me overnight and the next night they did a scope of my
digestive system and diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome and sent me
home. The pain went away a little bit to where I could
stand it. Them it got worse in September again, and I ended up at Madison memorial Emergency
Room again. Since July I started to get different symptoms. My legs would go
numb from time to time. I got dizzy spells, loss of memory, I couldn’t lay on
my left arm, and of course the abdominal and back pain. The doctor I saw at Madison told me that I
was just depressed and that was why I was having the pain. He put me on
depressant medication. The medication didn’t help at all. I began to sleep walk
to I then stopped taking them. In November I was getting into the tub when I
slipped and the pain worsened. That is when my mother suggested I go see Dr.
Smith. Since I have seen him all my symptoms have vanished. From the first
treatment my back and abdomen don’t hurt. I can lay on
my side. My dizzy spells are gone and my memory has improved quite a bit. My
legs also do not go numb anymore. I feel young and healthy again.
